Christian Stereotypes

I strongly agree with this man, but I have more to add. I believe that TV shows do portray Christians badly, but I think it may be all some of them know. For those who are not Christians or do not have Christian friends, the only examples of Christians they have is on the news. Now, most of the time, the news only shows the BAD stories; mistakes or problems in the Church. ( Most recently the burning of the Quran thing- http://tripolipost.com/articledetail.asp?c=1&i=4905) I think that this is all some people hear about, so when other Christians try to start Evangelical work or tried to be portrayed correctly it is very hard because of Christian stereotypes.

A Little About this Blog

This blog was created to give me a place to let everyone what's going on with me, my books, devotionals, and my opinions on events that relate to Christianity. I will briefly describe some of the things that I will post.

1.) Events- I will let you know about events that relate to my book directly or events that I think you might want to attend.

2.) My Books- I will use this blog to post things about my books such as events, important dates, excerpts, other information, etc.

3.) My Devotionals- Each week I will post a devotional that I have written for you to read.

4.) My Opinions on Events that Relate to Christianity- There are occasionally events that I think should be discussed from a Christian perspective. I will post an excerpt from an article I read and then give my opinions on the subject. I would love it if you would post your comments, opinions, and questions about these topics.

5.) Other- Occasionally there will be other information that I post on my blog- so keep your eyes out for it!
